Garmin 160c

Hey all, just looking into upgrading from my humminbird 250 DX to the Garmin 160C. Just wondering if it is easy to use and who has one and what you think of them overall?

Looking at the bottom, does each colour represent a different type of ground structure?

In all honestly that unit looks like it has a shocking pixel rating......which means it wont be the best unit

I can barely tell what is the bottom, the power output is also pretty bad

I would have to say its a very basic entry level unit which in all honest wouldnt really find you fish, reef or anything for that matter

I like the Lowrance range. They are very user friendly and easy to get the most out of them. Everything is adjustable to suit yourself and they look awsome too.

As soon as you see those "fish"symbols in an ad stay AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These units are for F$#@wits.

THe picture looks like it was made from my 4 year old's leggo set. Looks pretty crap. Go elsewhere! CHeers KElvin
