darcy77
Took a couple of days leave to fish the Clyde River and Lakes around Ulladulla for the first time and I was not dissapointed. 1st morning was on the Clyde and picked up 2 nice bream on surface poppers (River2Sea 45 bubble pops) around the racks. Here is the longest - 29cm. 2nd morning was on Lake Conjola and picked up my PB flathead of 70cm. I was stoked because it was a by-catch while chasing bream. I was using 6lb pink fireline, 8lb vanish fluro, and 2in berkley grub in pumpkinseed - over the moon with this model. I will definitely be back to the south coast! Love this website!!!!! troutboy
Top fish there , especially the flathead! What an awesome place lake conjola is, very underated fishing wise but I have caught both my pb bream and flathead there, also can turn up some monster whiting at times. Havent been there for a while now , might see if I can make it down at christmas. cheers troutboy
