hal
Well finally got out on the weekend,1st trip for the summer. What was to happen in the next few hours no one could have predicted We were only about 8n/m from sydney, and a marlin jumps out of the water trying to hit the shot gun,but misses within about 5 seconds later it goes towards the long corner, and we are on to our 1st marlin for the season 20minutes later we have a baby striped marlin 50kg Its a very good team effort from every one on board to get the fish in ,with out any tangled up lines. From here we start heading out to the baitstation,Then the short corner goes off it was screaming the rod n real,Turns out to be a 10 kg yellowfintuna.the reel still screaming.Yellowfin jumps, followed by a big blueestimated to be 120 to 150 kg Swallows up the yellowfin like a tictac What a sight to behold . So in conclusion our 1st trip for the season was very exciting to say the least Cant wait for the next trip.

Hal was on the rod, he was first on strike for the day. When the Yellowfin hit, Brett was next on strike. He was holding the rod and just watching in amazement as to what had just happened! It was in the boat in under 10min on 15kg, and on an Okuma of all things!

Guest Reely
No, boat wont handle that weather, mate went out today and went 0-0-0 so the fish have moved south like Netic said, for now, but another patch will come down with the currents
