wishihadaboat
Howdy all, Been looking at a few boats lately, and must say I'm in love with the Quintrex 480 runabout, I imagine something like this would have NO worries getting outside and once kitted up providing a good days fishing out there, but my question really is, if I go second hand what is the smallest I should look at in a runabout to be able to head outside? I've seen a few nice 460 and 455 size boats I could afford but just want to make sure I don't buy something that's not going to be able to cope out there. Size is certanly an aspect & there are a lot of boats in the 4.6mt range go out on good days. It is not so much the size of the boat but the weather conditions on the day , the condition , reliability of the motor & the experienc of the skipper. The best boat in the wrong conditions , Geoff
