domza
I had the pleasure of going on the 'thunder jet' which departs from circular quay. What an awesome ride, we hit huge wakes which sent us almost airborne at crazy speeds. apparently the one i went on is the biggest and fastest in sydney.. who else has been on a jet boat ride and how did you find it? oh the only thing i can complain about is the time. It says its a 30min ride but i think mine was alot less then that..maybe it was so short because it was the last ride for the day?
Dalucius
Hi Glad you enjoyed your jetboat ride. We to have been out on the jetboat and had a great time. The water was a bit rough so we didn't get the 360 deg turns. We got soaking wet even though we had on the raincoats. Next time NO raincoats NO sunnies and we might even go on the ride that takes you out the heads. yaaahoooo.
arpie
Hi guys A word of caution ... Just make sure you are tucked in tightly between at least 2 other folk. Story is that one lady has serious neck damage after being on the outside edge of only a 1/2 full boat - got the full whiplash effect & is very unhappy! Talking of suing them - has big medical bills already. I assume you have to wear some sort of seatbelt?? I think I can remember wearing them when I was on the Hamilton Jetboat on the Shotover River (Queenstown NZ) about 15 years ago - now that is a ride! Going a million miles an hour & just 2" from sheer rockwalls & skimming over inches of water in a raging torrent of a river! Cheerio Roberta
Guest Big-Banana
I had a ball the first time out, the second time was really boring tbh. Boat had engine problems as well so that didn't help. I want to do it in NZ in the really tight canals. That looks like a hoot.
Penguin
I had a jet boat roar thru a school of large feeding Taylor in the harbour that we were casting metals at and having a ball playing catch and release.then this idiot comes past too close and that was the end of that, scattered the divebombing birds and fish. So i dont think much of them after doing that to us. penguin
wayneo75
I think jet boat rides are truley an awsome experience especially in the tight confines of the shotover river in Queenstown NZ...had a ride last year http://www.shotoverjet.com/ as for the jet boat running through the school of tailor...gggrrrr
barrykrocker
no offence, but the idea of zooming around for no good reason just does not appeal to me in the slightest, I like things with fucntionability

namesay
I see these things all the time. Today the harbour was chopped up and the bastards were up in middle harbour west of the spit!!! Spewing! Probably scared every king out of the system for a week! Cheers kelvin

Guest DV8
Probably like Jetskis. Fun for about 20 minutes for the rider and F$#^ing annoying for anyone else. davo
