Fishing Early Morning Despite The Tide

Is fishing early morning despite the tide, low or high, is it good?

SO what I mean is, even though it is low tide at 6am, is there still a good chance to catch fish?

depends what your fishing for mate.

i fish for jew and only fish the tides the times are pretty much irrelivant(to a certain extent)

i love fishing a early morning or late arvo run in but if the tides don t coincide with those times it really doesn t matter

It is not good or bad. There will always be places fish feed on the run in (flood tide), and places fish feed on the run out (ebb tide). Get to know which is which in your local area.

personally i like to fish the incoming tide on dusk in the estuary, the turn of outgoing (ebb) at dawn on the beach (same location but for different species), i think it depends on what you are going for and what times the tide/moon phase best suit the species you are aiming for. Bream or flatties, man it could be midday at low tide and you'll still get on.
