Narrabeen Lake (deep Creek)

Fishless!!

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am pretty new to using soft plastics, and decided to go and practice in Deep Creek at Narrabeen Lake this afternoon. 3rd cast I was on, and as it got closer I could see it was a nice flatty of about 50cm ... in my excitement, I lifted the rod, the fish jumped out of the water, shook it's head, and said bye bye to my SP!!! Bugger!! :(:1badmood::ranting2:

Stayed on for another hour or two and walked up and down the creek (near the entrance) for just one more flatty of 35cm.

These SP things really work!! I'm hooked!!

Good on you Mike. Glad to see the flatties up the back of the lake like that.

I have hard there are some monsters lurking up near there, so another session

might be in order for you.

Great that the SP's are doing the trick for you.

Once the old flatties head is out of the water, those head shakes can ruin your day.

Cheers,

Pete.

Yep, a lesson well learnt!! :1prop:

Maybe we can catch up for a session together some time ... I live at Dee Why and can get out during the week if you're up for it.

Cheers

Thanks mate ... really appreciate the pointers you gave me. I was pissed when I dropped the 50cm model ... dumb!!

Anyway, it was just good to get the hookup.
