wildfish Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 hi guys, interested in getting a new boat, just getting started with my fishing, been fishing the esturies in 13' tinnie mostly for bream & trying for flatties, so ive been interested in a hornet trophy 435 but i came across a blue fin 4.5 centre console 60hp today which may sway me as i am interested in making a few trips to the inshore reefs & around the headlands also. this boat was about 1/2 the price of the hornet and seemed to have the best of both worlds with its wide open casting opportunities and possible sea worthiness. is this the kind of boat you could make regular trips past the heads in? boat is used, not exactly sure of age thou id guess at 5years or possibly a little older. anny advice appreciated, thanks. wildfish Posted February 14, 2007 Author Share Posted February 14, 2007 excellent thanks for all the advice guys! hopefully if all goes well i will be paying 4 the boat this weekend! wasnt paying that much attention to it as i was keen on something else but after i left the shop it snowballed on me, i went for a second look today and it looks heaps better than i thought! excellent condition! & 2003 only! cant wait, cant sleep, hope shes all go!
