zen801
Fished Middle Harbour and quarantine marker on saturday for bugger all. Saw plenty of surface fish but no big schools as they seemed to be broken up into smaller packs. They were not interested in any thing we had to offer. The yellow marker at quarantine also was very quiet. Saw heaps of baitfish in the water there but only managed to pick up one nice keeper bream. Pulled in plenty of under size pinkies that went straight back. We then fished the drop off at Clontarf for more pinkies and a few follow ups from kings but the kingies didnt want to play. As a last resort we tried the Pearl Bay moorings for nothing. Whats the story with flatties this year they just are not around in decent numbers in the usual places. Is it me or the same for others???????? Will hit the Nortern Beaches later in the week and try for a jewie. Humesy its time for a session at the beach. zen801
Yeah how typical, we had left by the time the kingies came on, and we had such a good spot in close to the marker. Best part about fishing is there is always a next time, a little bit smarter from the lessons learnt. Cheers
