offtap1
Hi guys, Has any one got a 150 - 200 hp E-Tech . How does it go. Im proberbly buying a 200hp E - Tech extra long shaft fo my boat. Any comments will be appreciated All good points and if any bad pls Hi i have a ETEC 200hp High Out put motor and am extremely happy with it heaps of power down low and high, It pushes my 6.9m plate boat to 43mile per hour, Fuel is good if you can keep revs around 3000. NOTE: Etecs have 150s and 200s but in the 200 range they have standard which is same block as 150hp , then they have High output which is bigger block same as 250hp with a heap more power. Cheers Dave

novice
Is this motor for a new boat or replacing an old motor ? I 'was' looking and replacing the 200HP mercury that i have, as the kids find if far too loud. They sit at the back of the boat wih their fingers in their ears. Was looking at the 175 E-TEC for my 6.4 stejcraft, but at around $13K after trade......not so sure. Does any need a 200HP mercury thatls still in A1 condition ??? Taps.
