sc0pe Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 hi guys, what can i use in crab pots that i can get from a regular butcher? usually throw the pots out first thing, and unless there is some fish carcasses at the ramp i leave them in ute. bringing something from home would be much, much easier. any ideas? OWZAT Posted March 17, 2007 Share Posted March 17, 2007 (edited) G`day Fellas , I reckon that Flaps from a Sting Ray are the absolute best bait for Crab Traps . They can be used over and over again , and don`t go off too quickly. Expect to Pay aound 8 bucks per kilo. I also use it for Beach Worming as well , Magic Stuff.
