Ross Hunter
Hi Raiders, Finally got a day off. For all the Raiders who are fishing the trailer boat comp AlthoUgh it is not for a couple of weeks I would recommend fishing between the Gibber to the north to Morna Point in the south Best technique is to skip mackerel or pull them live with a couple of teasers. Fish no wider than 100 metres and be patient. Current water temp 24 degrees light current run to the south. There are some nice blacks and stripes up to 110 kilos lurking these areas. .On Broadbill and Billfisher we have been catching ones and twos a day The water out wide is roaring south and has the occasional blue in it but has gone too hot for good fishing 26 degrees The inshore scene is a better option and the fuel burn is less. It could all change we will try to update again before the comp. There are a few hammers and whalers mixed up with the circus.VISIT www.gamefishingcharters.com.au in FISHING REPORTS for MORE INFO......Good Luck Ross and Glenn Hunter from our second home Pt Stephens. Tally so far 182 tags....not so bad I guess.
