Northern Beaches - Weed Or Cabbage ...... Help

Hi guys

Been in Sydney the last couple of days & used up most of my Forster weed today on 'throwbacks'! Want to have one last go tomorrow morning on the high tide before heading home to Forster around lunch time.

Only need some weed or cabbage! Anyone know where there may be some between Collaroy & Manly that I can grab tomorrow a.m.??

Any assistance appreciated! Only need enough for one session!

Hi Roberta,

There's usually plenty of cabbage on the luderick ledges in that part of the world.

When I lived in Sydney, I used to fish the Rocks at Harbord, to the North of the Diggers Club.

Never had problems finding enough cabbage for bait at this time of the year.

Be careful bait gathering though, there's more than 2 meters of swell forecast for today. Best to fish inside the Harbour.
