zen801
Woke up this morning and thought OK i am going to get wet today. Got to roseville and quickly collected yakkas. Headed out to our fav deep hole in Middle Harbour and got a couple of lines down. Basically had to work hard all morning for a feed and got totally soaked. Plenty of pinkies biting but rest were far and few between. Got a nice big squid and then dropped a nice flattie at the surface. Had a few hits on high tide on yakkas but no hook ups. Eventually a squid strip went off and i was on. Nice fight in 25m of water and one keeper fat kingie in the boat. Not long after that i spotted a nice big cobia on the surface doing circles but lost sight of him in a torrential downpour. Back at the ramp two other lucky anglers had two monster flatties - very nice. Glad we got out there but the elements were pretty full on today. Dougie
It's worth braving the conditions when you jag a Kingy I reckon. Heading out early tomorrow morning to try & jag one myself well done Dougie.
