I wonder if it may have been caught in a net when small & against all odds, managed to survive? We see every second bream caught up here without the top 3-4 fins, due to netting - so imagine how many juvenile fish don't survive? That in itself is a good enough reason to stop netting Wallis Lake, I say!! Tourism is essential for the town's wellbeing! Everyone that comes here throws in a line but probably less than 10% catch!
