Dave3097 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Hey all, Just moved to the northern beaches, and looking to get into the action, I'm restricted to land, unless someone needs a deckie. Typically fish the beaches but will give all areas a go. Anyone out there keen to show me the spots/ need a fishing mate? Night or day, sun or rain. Doesn't bother me... jut the storms make me a little edgie since I typically wave around 13ft of graphite, but hey could liven the place up a bit Dave
zen801 Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Hi dave, Welcome to the Northern Beaches mate. We fish the beaches usually Dee Why Long Reef or Collaroy. Been catching fish but its not exactly on fire. Might be going out for a night beach fish on Monday with Humesy a fellow raider. Weve been trying for jewies but mainly getting sharks tailor and salmon. We both caught one late last year but not this year from the beach. I got a 6kg from my boat recently in Middle Harbour. Cheers Michael

Cheers Michael Ive found Dee Why to be the same Zenman, slow as a wet week! I have hit two nice jews this season at Narrabeen though (amongst all the whalers). Big holes always seem to be forming to the north and to the middle of the beach. There is alot of water movement but once you find the holes its GOLD! Cheers and good luck tomorrow, Bob
henryinnis Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Yeah, the beaches are the go as Mike said..... Salmon season starting soon WOO HOO!
