What To Think - Real Deal Or Gimmick

Hi All,

Something for Surf/Rock fishos

Has any body heard of the Humming SMART CAST WRIST RF-30 Sonar.

Apparently this little device is a wireless sonar you attach to your rod and cast out to the area where you want to fish.

The actual display is the size of a watch which is basically is attached around your wrist.

This device apparently gives a depth reading and i beleive has 2 sensitivity settings for picking up fish activity

i spoke to my local tackle dealer and he said "mate if they were really that good i would be stocking them" which i thought was a valid point.

Anyways just wanted to know if anybody knows someone who has one and what do ya all think

I reakon that looks bloddy awsome man if it was actually accurate and gave you a clear reading it would be unreall, especially for beach fishing!!!!! personally tho i think its a bit far fetched.......

One on of those tech i saws a rc boat about 200 yds out and controller is set with lcd and every

bit of info like a gps/fishfinder.your rod is set in rod holder , line attached to clip and away she goes

and drops your bait wherever you like.This was inshore,dont know how it would go if on the beach.

It was a 1/8th scale.
