Failed Jewie Trip

Hi Raiders, well 2 mates and myself went for a jewie hunt on Satdee arvo/evening, got some nice little yakkas from Little Box Head, scooted over to West Head and quickly spun up 3 lovely squid all kept live and kicking in the livy tank, then down to Juno Point and anchored up in line with the other hopefull anglers that were there. It is abuot 4:30pm now and we through everything at 'em, all types of rigs , different line weights, different live baits, but unfortunately sat there till 8:00pm with not even a sniff. Guess they just were not around Satdee or are we doing it all wrong. I dont think all the other boats that were there had any luck, could hear any cheers of joy or excitement.. Cheers Ray R...

unlucky mate, it sucks when the time and effort are put in for little or no result, but when that good sized jew comes around im sure u will think of the lean times as part of the experience.

is it me or has the hawkesbury been in a jewie drought lately?

haven't heard any reports from there of late

sound like ur doing nethin wrong for the jewies, just got to have the

fish there to catch i guess.
