Geoff Posted April 23, 2006 Share Posted April 23, 2006 (edited) LOCATION Bermagui There are 2 ramps , the main one is in a small cove approx 150mt from the river entrance & the other a few hundred meters further up the river. Main Ramp CONDITION & ACCESS An excellent ramp , 2 / 3 car wide , very deep & can handle large boats. Have seen guys launch 25' cruisers PARKING & FACILITIES Jetty & pontoon , Parking is unlimited , there are fish cleaning tables & toilets near by. If it has one down side , very busy on weekends , especially during the holiday period ............................................................................................ 2nd Ramp CONDITION & ACCESS Good condition but need to watch out for few oysters they grow in the cracks. Handles 3 trailers comfortably . Not as deep as the main ramp so about 5mt boats is it's limit , especially at low tide. Also , the 100mt of river between the nearby bridge & the break wall is very shallow at low tide requires the motor to be near on full tilt. Whilst this can be a negative on the positive side the ramp is far less congested with easier parking PARKING & FACILITIES. Fish cleaning tables , toilets & parking for approx 50 vehicles.
