Evets
Hi Guys, Just wondering if any of you could help. I have just purchased an FCV 620 and I have read the instruction booklet but it doesnt seem to explain what all of the connection wires actually do. Any one able to tell me what the different wires colors are/connect to? Thanks, Evets
netic
Mate i have installed and uninstalled this unit before.... The main wires are your positive and negative, then you have the Transducer input and you also have some NMEA wires......all you really need to worry about is the positive and negative......you only use the NMEA wires if you wanna tie it in with a GPS unit... Evets
Thanks Netic, As a matter of fact I do have a GPS that I want to connect it to. How do I know which pair of NMEA wires need to be connected to the GPS? I have tried to figure it out from the instructions but it all appears double dutch to me Evets
Evets
Hey Guys, I have been doing a bit of research and found out which wires needed to be connected to the GPS. I have used the Green and Yellow wires. Works a treat. Now I will try and get the VHF connected as well so that the DSC works (ummm... that is if it was being monitored ) Evets
