DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Amongst myself and 2 friends who now know how to set up, cast, and use fishing rods, we didn't manage a single bite on bread. Where are the damn mullet, it was a nice day too Nonetheless, better than being at home doing the usual.
traysexy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 The damn mullet are the ones holding the rods:)... uncle pete
DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 They're holding the wrong ones. They need to jump on my rod and help me out a bit.
traysexy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I think someone doesn't have a fishing obsession, more of a fettish.. pete
DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 Nothing wrong with trying new things, anything to spark up my life
Davemmm Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 The mullet are missing from Gunnamatta too. I actually had to buy bait............................sacrilege!!!!!!! Dave
traysexy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Definately not on the end of daves rod.. hehe... nothing ever does hang off that;) pete
DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I let the odd fish here and there, gives me a bit of fun. Sometimes a bit more than I expect.
DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 They really do help, when in need get a fish...or try to...
mrelxr6 Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 mate you might have more luck in chipping norton lakes.or under the bridge at flower power at moorebank
traysexy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Nathen, thanks for your concern, but knowing david, not even fish wrapped in newspaper would help him..lol pete
DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 So maybe if I hang my rod off the bridge at milperra I'll manage a bite? It's worth a shot. Last time I was down there I got a bit snagged on the rocks
traysexy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 thats because your rod isn't long enough dave ... hehehe.... pete
DaveD Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 Not sure how long it is to be honest, always assumed it was long enough to hang over the water
traysexy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Said that right - hang... dave, lets stop here, cause it's heading in the wrong direction convo=finished.
