tonyt Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 go to the sw side of the wharf and keep an eye on your sounder for the temperature you cant miss it
fish lipps Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 gday tony, how much of temp. change would you expect to see??
abiasin Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 i have seen the temp change about 1 degree, just look for the water which looks to be boiling. ive scored some beaut bream there at night with the aid of a baitrunner.
Nathan L Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 hey, ya cant miss it just head to the western side of the oil wharf and just south of the fish farm thingy you'll see water that looks different to normal that's the hot water outlet
Flightmanager Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Or to put it really simply , find the fish farm , then head towards the shore. You will see an area of turbulent water , thats the Hot Water Outlet. Ross

domza Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 You can hardly tell a difference in temperature at all..I usually fish this spot at least once every outing, and i still do not know why i keep going back..The only 'big' fish you will catch there are stingrays and sharks..
wildfish Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 i think one of our members was catching kings consistantly in his kayak still as of 3 weeks ago!

CR@ZY OS@M@ Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 the very first time i had bought my old quinnie top ender i went there to fish for the first time and scored myself some nice fat bream late at night.
