Hi Loco

Don't give up!! Someone will take you with them - it is the best way to learn! If you like, I can send you some 'blurb' on blackie fishing to read in the meantime!

Cheers

Lambeth Park in the Georges River is a great spot to get you first blackfish.

The walkway near the green channel marker and the concrete jetty right near the toilets is a great spot as well on the run in tide.

This is a safe spot for beginners and you will get nice fish at this spot.

My advice on good blackie spots (on the open ocean rocks) is - any location where there is weed and wash. Any location at all. Honestly these fish are everywhere around NSW's headlands.

As far as the rivers go, however, I've got no idea.

Loco - where are you fishing from?

I'm pretty sure this where Stewy is talking about

One more question :D

Where can I get the weed? Is it around the river, or do I have to buy it?

There is very little around atm and if you can buy it , so much easier.
