frankp Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 (edited) The weather looks half good for tomorrow, just wondering if the YFT would be a good idea to target tomorrow. Edited August 11, 2007 by frankp

Hey frankp just got of the bom weather that half good weather.......... doesn't really look like being all that invitingly good at the shelf and beyond tommorrow chasing y/fin.............. they saying 30knts easing back to 20 or so ...............have a look at tommorrow morning's update sticking in close might be the better choice.......... don't ya hate the wind..................... Cheers Warnie
frankp Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Bloody hate it, pulled the pin this morning instead watching my cats beating the adelaide crows in AFL.
pelican Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 hi all i cant get onto seabreezz for some reason does anyone know if this wind will ease up later today or in the morning? cheers mick Hi I think the seabreeze model is constantly understating the weather. Seems to thke the lower range for it's graph. Does anyone else notice this. I use BOM as well to confirm as I can't tell on seabreeze how often it updates> Pel
warnie Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Hi pel Im with you on seabreeze and i feel that bom over states theirs so i try and settle some were in between....... the confusion exists though when they both contradict each other...... with actual wind speed strength it can quite often seem at times to be a lucky dip.......seabreeze gives the time of next update at the very bottom of the wind @wave graph when displayed................. Cheers Warnie
