Boultons Reef Today

Hi Raiders, went out to Boultons Reef just off Palm Beach this morning, and it started off promising with a little reddie about 25cm after the first drop, so back he went with a message to his big brothers. Well after that the pike moved in as well as the wrasse and pesty leather jackets, but my fishing partner Hutcho did manage to entice a 35cm reddie into the the burley trail and he snapped up his little strip of slimy. That was about it one Blurter, one Leathery, and one Reddie. The wind was huge out there this morning, the trip back to box head was very slow. So anyway I took a pic of our sad haul and one of Hutcho's boat . Say hi if you see us out and about .... Regards Ray R and Hutcho..

I caught only the one on the bottom bouncing gear , it was a fluke, but he made a few nice baits. Cheers Ray R ..

Not quite yet , but 2 trips to Boultons Reef from the Wagstaffe ramp cost us about $30, so we are working on it. Thanks for the thought. Cheers Ray R..
