james7
The record for the biggest flattie caught on my boat goes to my mate Syd. It was about 69cm He also caught the number two flattie (63cm) However, I hold the record for the smallest! It was a very delicate job to clean, scale and fillet! Cheers Peter Edited May 19, 2008 by peterS

kinghazza
you gotta watch them little flatties, the spines on the side of their head are needle sharp compared to the larger models.

james7
After a few complaints from my mate Pick-A-Box Syd, a correction, his biggest flathead is 72cm (not 69cm). He just loves to remind me that my biggest flathead is only 69cm! Cheers Peter
