michaelrdoyle@gmail.com
Hey All Does anyone have any inside knowledge regarding what livebait is available around Crookhaven heads (or on the way from there to the banks)? Really, I'm after: - Where? - What? - Does light make a difference? (IE before daybreak...) - What rigs do you use? I'm fairly new to the livebaiting side of fishing - but keen to push my fishing forwards and upwards :-) I'm famliar with the area - but trying to make the most of the banks - keen to drop some livebaits for some big kingies - or whatever else is out there :-) Also - just in case anyone knows - has anything been happening out at the banks recently? On Edge
G'day Mike, I have always been able to get live bait just to the right as you head East through the bar, on A good Summers day you will see A heap of boats fishing for their live baits there. Not to sure what is being caught at the Banks, but I can tell you I have an on site van at Shoalhaven Heads Tourist park and at the boat ramp there, I saw 5 YFT carcases from fish that I would say would have been about 25-30 kilos.
