bluefin
Only one answer to this. 6 to 1 SEASCAPE Major. The 499 Mitchell has the same rate of line retrieve per turn of the handle. But you can spin the Seascape faster, and it does make a difference!!! I proved it on the point at Hat Head with Bonito a while back. Actually a long while back. MEMORIES. Howard. bluefin
Probably in a museum, as I said , it was a long time ago. There would be better reels around today. But speed is the key. If they can't get a good look, they attack anyway! Howard. Edited August 24, 2007 by bluefin
RockHoppin
Yep, go the TSS4 mate. Simple but very effective. Been using one off the rocks for ages now and is yet to let me down. Relatively cheap and very tough.
