runamuk
Just wondering who on this site owns a V19R and whats it powered by? What fuel consumption do you use and does your boat have any covers and clears as im looking at getting some and looking for ideas.
a boat
Good Morning and to Fishraider. There is a good looking V19R for sale in the swap and sell section. It has a late model Suzuki 4-Stroke on the back so the fuel consuption would be good, and unless you have a late model "clean Tech" engine your fuel consumption will be alot higher than his. It might be worthwhile to PM him and see if he can answer your queries. Cheers, Huey.
Phil Bennett
Hi Runamuk, I only have the little brother (a V16R), but a mate of mine has the 19 footer. His is powered by a 150 Johno, which is pretty well right, power-wise for these heavy old boats. And as Huey touched on, unless you have a four-stroke or direct injected 2-stroke, they're a little pricey to run. But none the less awesome boats indeed! As for covers and clears, his boat simply has a windscreen. Being the size they are, you could get pretty excited with clears and a solid frame a foot or so above the windscreen to hold your rods and still not lose any fishing room. Cheers Phil
kbark
Adam's selling his V19r. Plenty of room for fishing. He's mated it with a relatively new 150hp Suzuki. Goes hard. Send him a PM or give him a call. He'll be happy to chat about it.
martinc
I used to fish in one with a 4 litre 4 cylinder volvo inboard. Bert from Narrabeen Butchery owned it. Man did it fly.
