Chewy Posted August 30, 2007 Share Posted August 30, 2007 (edited) Spot the Fish!! The crock was 3-4 m..... look hard and you might spot the catfish!!! Imagine that on an 8 pound fireline bream stick! I used to catch em in my youth (not on bream sticks!) - but I must say - I would have relished one this big!!! They love eating nicely cooked catchfish over there. Take A look at the spin gear he caught it on !! Sure would have caused that little river to burst it's banks and send tons of water all the way to Zulu Land. Cheers Mike! Frantic Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 (edited) from that first photo looks like a great big Flattie laying in the shallows.IF ya search YOUTUBE for GROUPER there some ripper footage of big fish. sent in by capt chancey.Mate they use 200lb leader straight on to the reel ,big trevally for live bait and avet reels with 100lb of drag.check the 600 pounder.
