The Mother Of All Invention.

Tell Me Raiders,

Have you been in a situation where?

You lost or forgot, hadn't yet purchased or

couldn't afford to buy Tackle or bait and

then have improvised with substituting the

Known and tested with the Unknown and Invented?

Nothing quite like using bait you just wrangled

from the surroundings or making that specialised

article of tackle nobody has ever conceived let alone seen before

from something you found washed up on the shore

after realising you left your lure box at home and the

greenbacks are smashing baitfish at your toes.........is there?

Whether it be Rods or lures, sinkers or jigheads,

a float that doesn't, or anything and everything in between.

Hooking, then Landing a good fish with the help of something that

started as a figment of imagination and became the Lynch pin that

Secured a meal for you and yours is special.......isn't it?

As for the art of catching your Bait,

A bit of time lost learning

equals a lifetime

knowledged gained.

What do YOU say?

Hi bigfoot

I was fishing of a jetty with a mate and had our rods out. we were just kickin back drinking some coke. We finished our coke and decide to make a small handline out of it. tied it to the jetty and sent it down. 5 minutes later the float was down and we hauled in a 40cm trevally :yahoo::074:

What are the odds!! Biggest fish ive caught of the jetty!!! :biggrin2::1prop:

Cheers Mcfusher :1fishing1:

I have used a large barrel lead that was sraped with a knife to make it shine, with two hooks tied to the line back to back ( the same knot). This has caught many tailor of the beach and some good bonnies of the rocks.

Also I have used a piece of white cloth wrapped around a ball sinker and tied off with the same hook rig. This has aslo caught many tailor.

Cheers

Kingpig.
