Beer Batter

Its the nicest one i've tasted in a while, and very simple....here goes

2 parts Plain flour

1 part Cornflakes roughly blended

Seasoning to tastes...salt pepper garlic etc... i also use all purpose seasoning (masterfood)

and of course beer, enough to make a thickish paste. I used tooheys extra dry.

Wow that’s sound good! Do you do anything to the corn flakes like crush them or are they whole ?

Just blend them up a little bit....."roughly blended".

On my way down to tackle store to pick up some CD9s - will hopefully get onto some Tailor and try out this recipe. I never batter my fish - we usually just pan fry after rolling fish in a bit of egg and some cornflour but this looks tasty!!
