Penguin
Hi Raiders, Fished the bay today,1st port of call was to Cook Park to register for the social, met some friends there and all the FR crew.Had a scrumptious breakfast courtesy of fishraiders very own bbq chef and birthday boy, Flightmanager Ross. The food was so good it was so hard to pull ourselves away and go for a fish, but this we did eventualy. Ran into a few other Raiders on the water and had a fun day even though the fishing was slow. At one stage we had 3 raiders boats fishing side by side. The odd Trev and Flatty were caught sporadicaly but nothing to write home about. We made our way over to cook park again had lunch and a laugh with others there, and again it was hard to go for a fish after, with our bellys full. New member, chille's young boy Phillip received a rod and reel combo from Swordy, and boy was the little fella stoked. He guarded it with his life. After we said our goodbyes to all at Camp Raider, we were off for a quick sesh, a few more Trevs were pulled in and some Tailor. One of my mates, john caught a Trev of 50cm, a pb for him and what a fight did it put up. That was it for the day, saw some more Raiders back at the ramp who said they had never seen such a big trev, and found it hard to believe it was caught in 3mtrs of water only a couple of hundred mtrs from the ramp. penguin our take home john with the big Trev Edited September 17, 2007 by penguin
