Lasty Posted September 29, 2007 Share Posted September 29, 2007 I have been given a 20L plastic fuel tank and would like to wash out the inside, just in case it has any crap in it. Is this as simple as washing it out with the hose and then leaving the lid off until all the water evaporates or is this a no no and is there some other way? Having said that with a small tank I dont see why using water to flush it and allowing to dry completely could be unsafe. I have just recently seen about a tablespoon of water in my 21L plastic tank.
