I'm looking borrow/hire a serpentine belt tensioning tool for a day (long flat bar with a 3/8 drive on the end). Can anyone help? Recessed 15mm bolt and the gap is just too narrow to get a breaker bar or ratchet in. Its only really access thats the problem. justinp Posted October 7, 2007 Share Posted October 7, 2007 Just undo the engine mount and jack the engine up and it will probably give you a little more clearance, p.s I am a mechanic, not too familiar with the tauras, but nothing is hard, some things just take longer than others, cheers Justin.
