I had thought it is a flathead but was also worrying if it is a puffer fish. thanks Edited October 7, 2007 by polyrandom
polyrandom
just found that it is an Oyster toadfish, because when I cut it it keeps shouting. i feel very bad now because i killed a fish that i cannot eat. I should have released it. fortunately i haven't get hurt by it because it is said that its spike is extremely toxic.

Davemmm
if i had known that, i wouldn't throw it away Mate the one I caught was an ugly dirty looking thing that had the feel of a wet sock. Thye dont look big enough to make a fish cocktail out of. I'm with Laredo when in doubt give it back to Neptune. Dave
