Hi all

I left shell harbour boat ramp around 6.

On my way out a small whale had jumped out of the water only about 50 meters out from were the surfers were on the point.

I tried one tree point for a hour and only got 1 small snapper and a heap of rock cod,so tried out wide nothing but a heap of under size flaties.

Not far out from wingdang had a drift with the sea anchor out, a Whale with a calf surfest about 200 mtrs from the boat,then the larger whale surfest right at the back of the boat I could of touched it,scared s#$t out of me.

A half hour later I seen what looked to me like a 5ft tiger shark cruising.

All up the fishing was slow and a lot of small flatties around,didnt go home with a feed but had a great day.
