Davy
Hey all just thought id share what i caught from dee why beach last week. or was it curly? can't remember but we fished both. Other than this monster...caught zip. Ah well. yesterday headed down to the marina at roseville to flick around some plastics and found this mowie (i think) washed up on the shore. it was a pretty good size too, any ideas on how it died? i dont think a fisho wud just catch it and leave it to rot on the shore. notice the holes near its tail and fin. Cheers all Edited October 16, 2007 by Davy
JayKay
Maybe it was one of those bugs or parasites we sometimes find buried in the skin of fish. ive seen them in yakkas and in leatherjackets, but not in mowies. Jay Kay

Kingy
the chunks taken out of the fish look a little small, but maybe a juvenile cookie cutter took some fatal chunks out. rgds, kingy
tomahawk1999
My guess is that a water rat has found it washed up before you!
