Steve07
One of my best captures from our fishing trip up at weipa in cape york, was this solid Giant Trevally captured on soft plastics by sight casting the awesome shallow sand flats at the mouth of the jackson river. The fish was 63cm & weighed 5kg.The tackle used was a 10lb braid threadline outfit, which includes a 4-6kg daiwa procaster Z,shimano stradic 2500 spin reel,10lb braid with a 2 metre 15lb ande mono shock leader connected with an albright knot. And what plastic do you ask?one of my favourites,a 3inch bass minnow. steve Edited October 31, 2007 by nexus
