hi all

Took the father and law out for his first squid season.

Arrived at tunks park about 6.30 and of we went

It was abit slow and as i had talked it up(as u do)the pressure was on.

the squid were a bit slow bot we did manage 31 by 11.00

so we had enough for a feed so back to tunks and the cleaning began

sorry no pics of the squid but they ended up looking like this

Miller,

I was the chap you helped out with the glow sticks and advice. Much appreciated and although we only manged to convert that into 4 squid, I am sure next time will be better. The frustrating part was that I could not find any kings this morning who wante to scoff our hard earned squid. Maybe next time that will be better also.

Do you find they come on better at any special time of the tide etc? Any extra info would be appreciated

cheers,

Bloo

hi bloo

i find that the tide has to be moving to get the squid to come on

i didnt check the tide and it was small tide so not much movement=tuff time squiding

u had the right rigs but i would stick to the small jigs 1.5 and 1.8

and remember to keep in contact with the bottom and u will do fine

cheers
