plamb
Hey raiders As i mentioned in my earlier post, living in Singapore tends to limit the amount of fishing i can get in (that plus the average 12+ hour days at the office...); but following the Darwin trip back in June, managed a weekend away with my better half to Malaysia in September targeting Sails. Unfortunately not the double figure days it's renowned for at that time of year, but here's a few snaps of the ones we did catch - including an absolute baby of about 8kg (its bill was soft & flexible). As always; had the joy of hearing i should have been there in Oct this year as the Sails arrived late but you get that. All fish on live baits; either slow trolled or ballooned. Cheers Paul. The Poacher
Hey Lambster, Were you fishing at Kuala Rompin? I did that trip this time last year and we got 7 in one day! and that was considered a slow day. We fished with Mike Tan of BlueSails. He provides an excellent service, accomodation and transfers were all good. I would definantly do it again if I were in Singapore. Great value at about A$450 for the weekend. Here is one of mine.
