just wondering what type of squid the bottom one is i havnt seen before are the other 2 arrows?? first time squidding thanks in advance.

the first 2 are green eye {thats what i call them}not arrows

and the 3rd is a cuttle fish there are all great bait

but if your goin to freeze them dont let them touch fresh water

just bag them and freeze them ink and all

the first ones are southern calamari's

the bottom onesa a cuttle... you should be able to feel the hard shell and careful of sharp point...... great king bait...

as miller said dont let them touch fresh water otherwise they will go pink and not as good for bait...

i just grab jig when caught and drop straight into plastic bag than freeze asap making sure no air in bag also....

thanks guys they did go a bit pink will take that into account next time and yea that cuttle was very hard it also stayed alive much longer. thanks
