BRUTUS Posted December 3, 2007 Share Posted December 3, 2007 Hi Everyone Just a Quick report from my 8 year old Grandson Kyle who took his Dad Glenn (my youngest son) fishing near the Spit Bridge Late Saturday night - early Sunday morning. Things started off fairly quiet with not a lot of run in the water. A few small Snapper and Bream went back until Kyle Found a very small Pilchard floating near his feet and decided to put it on his 4 Kg spin outfit. After a few minutes he Landed a 61 cm Dusky Flathead that later weighed in at 1.36 KG. Later in the morning his dad got a sand whiting that went .49 Kg. With not a lot going on and the young bloke a bit tired they called it a day about 2.30 AM. Crumbed Flathead & Whiting Fillets for dinner last night and again we eat Fish caught by the little fellow after his 8.0 Kg Yellowfin he got Last Sunday.
