Dan A Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 Went for a late fish today in the Hastings River. Before launcing I dropped into BCF and got myself a Mud Crab trap to see how I went. Set a trap and went and fish for a few hours, on the way back checked the trap and it had a nice mud crab in it, my first. He was dinner tonight cooked up in blackbean/garlic sauce and rice. I hear there are good muddies up here in the lake, but you have to know where to set the traps. Lots of folk get blue swimmers ...... the clever ones get the muddies!
