squidlips Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 Hi, I have a Shimano Baitrunner 4500B reel, that i have been using to bait fish for jewies, kings ect. I do alot of landbased fishing, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good rod to go with this reel. I previously used a Shimano Backbone Snapper Rod,, and should of taken it out of the rod holders when driving my mates boat under an overhanging branch in upper middle harbour. I love the baitrunner reel, and would like a good strong rod to go with it. Although i liked the backbone, i would appreciate some other recommendations from all you fishos.
