Lots of new snags have emerged and there are not many folk fishing just now! I know a couple of jews were caught on big plastics last week on the Forster side, but that was before the seas came up big. Big winds just now too. Err on the side of caution! arpie Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 (edited) I was speaking to a bloke yesterday who I watched fishing the other night (for jewies) & he had one on that got off. Seems he only recently started fishing for jewies here with big sps & got 2 in his first 2 outings!!! Pretty sure he was on the Forster side tho. How amazing is that????? And he doesn't even like their taste!!! Gives them all away! He wants to catch a soapie to 'see the difference!' I said he could drop a slab off at my address any time! We've been having fun with the blackies off the rocks with cunje - stilll plenty around! My brother got 5 blackies & 3 bream yesterday morning & 2 more blackies yesterday afternoon! We'll be heading out again sooooon!! My older brother has joined us & we want to get him into a blackie too!! He dropped 2 yesterday afternoon. He has to go back to Sydney today & we want him to take 8 fish back for a dinner party on Fri!
