mottyman
G'day all, I headed down to the parra around Abbotsford for the early high tide this morning in the hope of getting a few bream. In short I didn't get any for the first time in a while. In fact, the only fish I landed were two very small flatties. The Breamskies were there alright, although not huge, they followed my lure right to the shore then just turned and scurried away. With one cast, I had three following the lure and just playing around. I tried changing lures (PE's, Fat Grubs, Sliders etc) and different retrieves but without a single hookup, just bumps, taps and follows. In all it was extremely frustrating but also a quite exciting watching the bream stalk the lure. Anyway, there's always next time. Cheers,
Ken A
Sure is frustrating watching fish follow & not eat. Just gotta keep changing things around. Problem is that doesn't always work either.
