Whats Is This Fish - Please Help

Hi Raidsters!, I caught this fish at fishrock a while back and stumbled across the picture last night - as you can see by the look on my face i really have no idea what it is. The fish took a squidie..... we caught a heap of them - great fin. all went back into the drink.....

Would love to know what it is.... Cheers

It looks like a hybrid!! Dolphinfish tail & colouring & something else for a head!

Wouldn't have a clue!

Yeh i'm pretty sure its a fusilier, we caught a few of them in Northern QLD, they make a great Giant Trevally live bait.

That's what I thought, too!!

Grant's Guide to Fish (a recommended addition to your library) say they grow to 15" & are an excellent table fish. I have the 9th edition.
