Robbielites
Hi. My Scotty 1085 is giving me shite. Some days it is OK but just OK and others it is a complete pain to wind in requiring two hands to do it, which is very frustrating on solo trips. The brake handle does not relocate properly and can lock any where between 0 and 90degs, this point will vary from day to day. Does any one know if there is a simple fix for this, or alternatively is there a replacement part needed, the unit is bolted to the boat so I have not pulled it off yet to have a good look If only it worked like my 1050, I would be a happy man Robbie. Robbielites
Thanks mate. I found a manual yesterday and as you say they are pretty simple devices. There is a section in it about adjusting the brake, it should be pretty easy Cheers. Robbie.
