hassall
Wilbo and I hit the water early this morning for another go at the bass on the Hawkesbury. Once again it was a pleasure to be on the water early and we had the river to ourselves. Lots of casts for only a few strikes, then Wilbo decides to tie on one of his new lures and instantly has some good strikes. Two or three casts later and right at the boat this one snaffles his lure on the second attempt (33cm). At the same time I had a fish take my lure. Check out the size of the fish compared to the lure! Once again the spoils go to the guest! Cheers, Deano
arpie
Hi Deano Aren't they garbage guts'?? That lure is only marginally bigger than the fish!! Ah well, that is how they get to be big fish! :) Well done on the bigger one for your buddy! Nice looking fish. The old black lure does it again, eh? Steve07
Cant complain about a spot & peaceful conditions like that,a couple of bass are an added bonus. Great fun & shows how aggressive these fish are, with the size of the lures they are prepared to hit. Good effort!
Hodgey
Bloody gluttons! And they give a good account of themselves fight wise, regardless of their size. Hodgey Edited March 26, 2008 by Hodgey
